The North Carolina Health and Wellness Trust Fund has launched a new media campaign as part of its Health Disparities Initiative. The first phase of the campaign focuses on diabetes. A television commercial was created featuring 3 patients who have participated in different Health Disparities Initiative programs throughout the state. One of those patients is from Southeast NC, and has participated in programs through Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear.
